Het Iron Curtain Project wordt gemaakt door de journalisten van Bureau Boven en Stichting Autres Directions. Het wordt gesponsord door de Europese Commissie en uitgevoerd in samenwerking met Europese partners: 1956 Institute, Asociaţia Memorialul Revoluţiei, Cold War History Research Center, Decât o Revistă, Estonian Art Academy, Müürilehe, Green Hours, Kitekinto, Nuremberg International Human Rights Film Festival, Okupatsioonide Muuseum, Post Bellum, Szimpla Kert.
